Trees along the beach may become very weathered and swept with the challenges they face, yet they become even more beautiful. Bonsai show this beauty of age.

To reflect the natural balance of life, age and beauty, this series is created from materials natural to the earth and distressing processes from burning the wood, to earth pigments, and etching with bonsai tools.
